Trouble Shooting Connection Issues
Share
Situation 1: Connecting vSeeBox with WiFi network
Go to Settings and check the network status. If it says [Connected], your WiFi is working correctly.
If it shows [Remembered] instead, this means the password is incorrect. Tap the network name, select "Forget Network," and reconnect using the correct password.

Step 2:
Check your WiFi signal strength. If the WiFi icon appears fully white, the signal is strong. If it's only partially filled or dim, the connection is weak. Try moving your vSeeBox closer to your router for a better signal. Keep in mind that walls and other obstacles can reduce WiFi strength.

– Make sure the IP setting is in “DHCP”

Step 3:
Try opening apps like YouTube to see if your internet is working properly.
Then, launch the "Fast" app on the Home screen to test your connection speed. For smooth streaming, we recommend a minimum of 8 Mbps.
If you're still having issues after the above steps:
-
Restart your router or modem.
-
Try connecting with a wired Ethernet cable, which often provides a faster and more stable connection.
-
Test with a different network, mobile hotspot, or even a neighbor’s WiFi to rule out connection issues.
If you're connecting vSeeBox with an Ethernet cable:
Step 1:
Go to Settings and confirm the Ethernet status. If connected, it will display [Connected] along with details like IPv6, IP address, and vSeeBox MAC ID.
-
Make sure IP settings are set to DHCP.
-
Disable WiFi if it was previously connected.
-
Open an app like YouTube to test the connection.
-
Use the "Fast" app on the Home screen to check your internet speed.

If the steps above didn’t resolve the issue:
-
Make sure the Ethernet cable is securely plugged in on both the vSeeBox and your router or modem.
-
Try switching to a WiFi connection to see if the internet works over wireless. This can help determine if the issue is with the cable or the network itself.
